Woodard Carpet Cleaning Sales Promotion-Contest Direct Mail

 

We had been doing direct mail for Woodard Carpet Cleaning for a few years when another anniversary rolled around. We thought maybe it was time for them to do a little more than the standard postcard, and came up with the idea to do a contest. Woodard targets owners of high-end homes, people who are exceptionally proud of their homes and love to show them off.

We suggested they do a Living Space of the Year contest in which homeowners take a photo of their favorite room and submit it. (Obviously, those who enter the contest would have to get their carpets and furniture cleaned by Woodard to make sure their room was presentable!)

Woodard jumped on the idea, got St. Louis Magazine and Phillips Furniture on board as partners, and had a very successful contest that expanded their exposure and brought some nice free publicity.
